Now in its 28th year, showcases the special attractions of the Great Alpine Valleys; great cafes and restaurants, access to three wine regions, accommodation to suit all budgets, adventure sports, walking tracks and bike trails, street and river markets, art exhibitions and a natural beauty not found elsewhere in Victoria.
Open Gardens are a key attraction and the district abounds with keen and dedicated gardeners who proudly offer their properties for public viewing. New gardens have been added to the itinerary this year and visitors can experience the hospitality of enthusiasts and experts across the region from 17 gardens.
As always the Fireworks night is a highlight during the Bright Spring Festival on Cup weekend. Families, teenagers, locals and visitors – the night has something for everyone.
A visit to Bright is always an opportunity to visit the fabulous Mt Buffalo National Park for the amazing views and to take in the spectacular wildflowers along the Bogong High Plains Road. For many locals this is a regular must-do outing.
Catch one of the exciting Spring Festival Food and Wine events such as the Spring Festival Feast, a spring dinner prepared by locals or savour the tastes of award winning restaurants, cafes, wineries and breweries.
